ANTHONY BROWN - ADVISER
My primary role was to be a support to the Advisers and included:
This role enabled me to develop an extensive understanding of the Insurance industry including the ins and outs of various insurance products. I also developed lasting key relationships with influential people within the Insurance industry and the legal and medical professions. I became an Insurance Adviser in 2004 and also an active member of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA). I joined the AFA to engage with other industry professionals and learn more about the issues facing the industry. I also had a short involvement as a board member of the AFA Genxt program in 2009. I have enjoyed presenting seminars at the ABA Advice and Advocacy Courses held throughout Australia and feel that the information therein has been helpful to attendees. As an adviser, my role is to sit down with you and discuss some of the potential risks that could prohibit your ability to generate an income and/or continue your retirement planning. I strongly feel that your most valuable asset is your ability to generate an income and therefore we need to protect you and your family against any potential risks. What would the impact be on your family’s financial future if you were to die or become disabled through illness or injury? What I discuss with my clients is how different insurances such as Life, Total & Permanent Disability, Income Protection, Business Expenses & Trauma Insurance can prevent a financial crisis if the unexpected happens. With my professional assistance, you will find that it is not difficult to set up a personalised risk management strategy to ensure that you are prepared for the unexpected. I find with most clients, the hardest part is the first step - making the decision to get your financial affairs in order. Anthony can be contacted at: anthony.brown@mlig.com.au |
